I don’t know if Disney-Pixar characters or Halloween costumes count as cosplay, but at least I got the chubby part down!
I was Boo from Monster’s Inc. for Halloween 2010. All the pieces were sourced and purchased except the stuffed monster, which was sewn by my best friend (-ibelieveinyesterday-.tumblr.com).
You can find my tumblr at skyelinepigeon.tumblr.com! :)
I’ve actually never posted this much of anywhere where it would actually be seen, because I’ve always been incredibly self-conscious about the fact that I’m very much a larger girl, and the character I’m cosplaying, well…isn’t. I really loved making this outfit, though, and I have worn it to conventions (though never got many comments)…I’ve even gotten a better wig for it!
Thank you so much for this blog, it makes me feel so good. You’re all so beautiful, girls, and never let anyone tell you otherwise.
me as Undertaker from Black Butler at OMGcon 2011. I felt really self conscious about the way the coat fit :/ but a lovely friend told me it looked good. Cosplaying and being shy don’t exactly go together e///n///e
My Harley Quinn costume for Fanexpo 2011 :) I was initially worried about wearing a bodysuit but I actually got a really great response to my costume!!
I’ve posted before, might as well post again. My Mami Tomoe cosplay, yay. I have more pictures uploaded in my DA. http://thepurplebunnyxx.deviantart.com/ <3!
Hello~
Cosplaying a Draenei Death Knight from World of Warcraft, I am a size 18 and 5’11”.
Everything was handmade by me (except the horns, wig and pouches). I did this at Anime Expo this year and hopefully will be doing it again at Comic Con ^__^ I wanted to show that even plus size women could be super badass. Don’t let anyone tell you differently ;D
Hey! So, a while ago I sent in a message saying that seeing everyone’s photos on here gave me courage to try cosplay for the first time. (I’ve never done it before because I worry about my weight)
And there I am! At Manchester MCM Expo cosplaying as Grell. I was really nervous that someone might make a comment about my weight but everyone was actually really nice and I am so glad that I did it!
I hope that other people who come on here will get the courage to try out cosplay :)
Thankyou so much to everyone who posts on here or giving me courage :)
Ell of Andor, Dragon*Con 2011
I’ve been costuming as an Andorian (Star Trek) for a while, and I think I looked pretty damn good this year.

akstatic asked: I recently saw someone asking about finding wider boots with bigger calf circumferences, and if no one has said it yet, Torrid! They have a website and stores throughout the U.S., and include measurements of their boot circumference, ranging anywhere from ankle to knee-height, going up to a women's size 12.
Aaaah this is old, but good advice! Torrid stocks sexy plus-size stuff!
